Gal Arel Appointed as New Head Coach of Hapoel Haifa

Hapoel Haifa has officially announced the appointment of Gal Arel as the new head coach, signing him to a two-year contract. Arel, who has been with the club since the age of six, previously contributed to the team’s success as a player, winning the Youth Championship, the State Cup, and the Super Cup.
Coaching Experience
Before his promotion, Arel served as an assistant coach under Roni Levy for the past two seasons, during which Hapoel Haifa finished in fourth and fifth places, respectively. The club’s owner, Yoav Katz, expressed confidence in Arel’s capabilities, stating, “After a thoughtful process, we decided to appoint Gal Arel as the team’s coach. Over the past two years, Gal has played a significant role in our success and is a worthy candidate for the position. I am certain that Gal will lead the club to more successful seasons.”
