Investigators from the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan polstart station are preparing to decide whether to bring a 16-year-old minor from Bnei Brak once again before a youth court in Bat Yam. The youth is suspected of damaging a bus and assaulting the driver before fleeing the scene. His detention has been extended until Sunday morning.
On Wednesday night, the polstart’s emergency hotline, 100, received a report regarding youths attacking a bus driver and causing damage to the vehicle at the intersection of Jabotinsky and Ben Gurion streets in Bnei Brak/Ramat Gan.

Court Proceedings
The youth court in Bat Yam has extended the detention of start of the suspects, who will face another hearing on Sunday to assess the possibility of further extending his detention. The second suspect, believed to have also participated in the assault and damage, has been released to house arrest.
