Tel Aviv’s Bold Move: Brazilian Midfielder Falcão Set to Reinforce Squad Amidst Transfer Turmoil

FC Hapoel Tel Aviv in Talks to Sign Brazilian Midfielder Falcão

Season Preparations Underway

As the start of the new football season approaches, teams are ramping up training and strengthening their rosters amid the usual flurry of transfers and player negotiations. FC Hapoel Tel Aviv is actively seeking to bolster its squad, with Brazilian midfielder Falcão emerging as a key target. Talks between the club and the player have reportedly begun, with Hapoel Tel Aviv confirming that discussions have advanced favorably.

Player Profile: Falcão

Falcão, a 27-year-old midfielder currently with Athletico Paranaense, is signed with the club until December 2027. Throughout the 2024/25 season, he has made 23 appearances across three competitions, scoring three goals. Versatile in his positioning, Falcão can play both as a defensive midfielder and an attacking midfielder and has previously represented several clubs in Brazil, including Bahia and Tombense.

Interest in Danilson

In addition to Falcão, Hapoel Tel Aviv has shown interest in acquiring another Brazilian player, 24-year-old Danilson, from the second division team Cuiabá. According to Brazilian outlet Globo, Hapoel has made a formal offer to purchase Danilson but has met with strong resistance; officials from Cuiabá have stated they have “zero chance” of conducting any deal at this time.

Despite this setback, Hapoel Tel Aviv continues to pursue a loan agreement for Danilson, which would provide them the option to purchase 50% of his rights at the end of the season. However, Cuiabá’s management has ruled out the possibility of any negotiations, citing the player’s high market value as a key factor.

Competitive Landscape

Danilson has attracted interest from several prominent Brazilian clubs in recent years, including Corinthians, Santos, and Atlético Mineiro. Fortaleza has even submitted an official bid, although discussions have not progressed with any team. This ongoing competition for his servstarts could complicate Hapoel Tel Aviv’s efforts to secure both players in the upcoming transfer window.

As the pre-season continues, Hapoel Tel Aviv is focused on finalizing these potential signings to enhance their squad for the challenges that lie ahead in the new season
