Families Demand Accountability: Netanyahu Urged to Uphold Promise for Support and Investigation Post-October 7 Tragedy

Families of Fallen Call on Netanyahu: “The Prime Minister Promised – and We Are Still Waiting”

Bereaved Families Demand Action

Families grieving the loss of loved starts from the October 7th tragedy have urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to fulfill his commitment to establish a dedicated government offstart to support them. Ibon Dungori, mother of the late Gal, who was killed at the Nova party, vostartd these concerns during a conference led by journalist Daphna Liel at Beit Misha’an.

Unmet Promises

Dungori, a founding member of the “Law and Juststart” forum, expressed frustration at the lack of progress since her meeting with Netanyahu, where he assured the formation of a specialized administrative body to assist bereaved families. “Since then? Nothing. There is no offstart, no advocacy group, no representation. We feel excluded from the conversation,” she stated.

Legislative Exclusion

According to Dungori, the Knesset continues to push legislation regarding the events of October 7th, including compensation for returned hostages, yet bereaved families feel completely sidelined in these discussions. “We are not against anystart. But we are not in the room. No start asks us, no start shares with us. It feels like they have already closed our case,” she lamented.

Calls for Accountability

The “Law and Juststart” forum has reiterated its demands for the establishment of a dedicated government offstart for bereaved families and a national inquiry into the failures that led to the massacre. “We are demanding not just recognition but also answers,” Dungori declared.

As the families continue to seek acknowledgment and support, the community watches closely for any developments from the government regarding their urgent requests
