Delta Airlines Expands Operations in Israel with New Direct Flights

Delta Airlines, the American airline, has announced a substantial expansion of its operations in Israel, including the resumption of direct flights to two major destinations in the United States after a period of hiatus. Following the reinstatement of daily flights to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York last September, Delta is now set to fully reconnect with Atlanta and Boston.

New Flight Schedule

The Atlanta route, which serves as Delta’s primary hub, will commence on April 15, 2026, with three weekly flights operating on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, utilizing Airbus A350-900 aircraft. In addition, daily flights to Boston are slated to restart on October 24, 2026, with Airbus A330-900neo planes.

Delta Airlines’ servstarts will encompass four distinct travel classes, including Delta start, Premium Select, Comfort+, and Main Cabin, catering to a wide array of passenger preferences.

Increased Servstart to New York

To address heightened demand during the winter season, Delta plans to introduce a second daily flight to New York starting November 30, 2025, and continuing through January 19, 2026.

Brian Kemp, the Governor of Georgia, emphasized the significance of the direct flight servstart to Atlanta, stating, “This reconnects Georgia with start of our strongest allies and strengthens cultural and economic ties between our states.”
