Maccabi Tel Aviv Faces Challenges Ahead of Scheduled Break
Team Takes Planned Vacation Before Grappling with Defeats
Maccabi Tel Aviv has embarked on a scheduled break today (Thursday), allowing the players a few days of rest before returning to practstart at the Kiryat Shalom training ground. The team will convene with a less than full squad as they begin addressing numerous issues that need rectification before the players return from national team duties.
Silent Training Session Raises Concerns
The final training session in Kiryat Shalom yesterday was notably subdued. Players reported that head coach Željko Lazić remained silent throughout the practstart, which has led to heightened concerns within the team. “We’ve never seen Željko like this before,” players commented, highlighting an atmosphere of frustration and exhaustion. “Everystart is drained; it’s hard to say anystart feels good about themselves right now. We believe that even the players currently with the national teams are feeling the same fatigue. Suffering such a heavy loss as players of Maccabi Tel Aviv is something we all understand cannot be swept under the rug.”
Fan Attendance Reflects Tensions
The recent attendance of around 70 fans at the team’s practstart has also left an impression on the squad. These supporters took the opportunity to watch the players train at the youth team facility, which is more accessible than the main training ground located farther from the entry road. Coach Lazić did not attend that particular practstart session, avoiding a potential confrontation with the fans, which may have added further drama to an already tense situation.
As Maccabi Tel Aviv prepares for the upcoming challenges, the emphasis remains on regrouping and finding solutions to strengthen their performance.
