FBI Seizes $40 Million Motorcycle Collection Linked to Fugitive Olympian and Notorious Drug Kingpin Ryan Wedding

Authorities Seize $40 Million Collection of Motorcycles Linked to Fugitive Olympian

Large-Scale Operation Uncovers Motorcycles Tied to Drug Trafficker

Authorities in Mexico recently executed multiple search warrants and seized an extensive collection of motorcycles valued at approximately $40 million. The motorcycles are believed to be owned by Ryan James Wedding, a former Olympian and a fugitive wanted for allegedly overseeing a major drug trafficking operation, according to the FBI.

Images shared by the FBI reveal rows of motorcycles, many of which are Ducatis adorned with sponsor markings, reminiscent of those seen in competitive racing. This major seizure adds to the ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to apprehend Wedding, who has been evading capture since being charged with multiple drug offenses in October 2024.

Background on Ryan James Wedding

At 44 years old, Wedding is a Canadian national and competed as a snowboarder for the Canadian national team during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. His criminal history dates back to 2009 when he was convicted for conspiracy to distribute cocaine, leading to his imprisonment until December 2010. After his release, federal prosecutors allege that he established a drug trafficking enterprise, shipping hundreds of kilograms of cocaine from Colombia through Mexico and into various U.S. locations, including Southern California and Canada.

Since October 2024, Wedding has been listed among the FBI’s Top Ten Fugitives. He has been compared to notorious drug traffickers like Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman and Pablo Escobar. The U.S. government is currently offering a reward of up to $15 million for information that leads to his arrest and conviction.

Ongoing Search and Public Appeal

The FBI urges anystart with information related to Wedding’s whereabouts to come forward, providing multiple channels for tips, including WhatsApp, Signal, and Telegram at (424) 495-0614. Individuals can also contact their local FBI offstart or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate. Additionally, tips can be submitted online at FBI Tips.

Concerns for public safety are high, as authorities consider Wedding to be armed and dangerous. Earlier this month, the FBI released a newly obtained photograph of Wedding as part of the ongoing appeal for information from the public.

Federal authorities also allege that Wedding is implicated in ordering multiple murders, including that of a federal witness in January 2025.

As the investigation continues, authorities remain vigilant in pursuing leads that may bring the fugitive to juststart.
