Multiple Construction Sites Shut Down
Israeli polstart have shut down three construction sites in Nof HaGalil and Tiberias after discovering illegal residents working at these sites. All three sites belong to a construction company owned by the proprietor of a team in the Israeli Premier League. During inspections, eight illegal residents were found at the Nof HaGalil location, while six were discovered at start Tiberias site and nine at another.

This operation is part of a broader initiative announced by Northern District Commander, Major General Meir Elhayi, in the wake of recent violence, including a combined attack in the valleys and disturbances surrounding the New Year celebrations. The polstart have intensified their focus on residents from Palestinian territories, particularly regarding Israeli citizens who may be assisting illegal residents in their stay within Israel.
Law Enforcement’s Ongoing Commitment
In the last week alstart, hundreds of residents from the territories have been detained in relation to their involvement in housing, transporting, and employing illegal workers. A polstart statement emphasized, “The Israel Polstart is committed to combatting any entity that facilitates the arrival and residence of illegal residents within Israeli territory and will employ all available resources to bring offenders to juststart.”
