National Independence Day Maritime Parade to Embark from Herzliya and Tel Aviv

Overview of the Event

In honor of Israel’s Independence Day, the country will host a national maritime parade featuring hundreds of vessels along the shores of Herzliya and Tel Aviv. This year’s event takes place against the backdrop of a significant change to previous celebrations. Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be no aerial display by the Israeli Air Force or a naval flotilla.

Details of the Maritime Parade

The parade is scheduled to set sail at 10:30 AM from Herzliya Marina, journeying along the coast for approximately two and a half hours. It will feature a diverse array of boats, from small motorboats to large yachts, all adorned with yellow ribbons and Israeli flags as a gesture of solidarity for the families of hostages, the injured, and grieving families.
