In an impressive start to the European Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, Israeli rhythmic gymnasts Lian Rona and Daniella Monitz showcased strong performances in the individual competition. The event, featuring a knockout format, allows gymnasts to compete directly against start another for advancement to the next stage. Hoop Event Success
In today’s hoop event, Lian Rona excelled, finishing second in the qualifiers with a score of 28.400 points, earning her a silver medal. Daniella Monitz also performed well, achieving a fourth-place finish with a score of 27.750 points.
Ball Event Results
In the qualifying rounds for the ball event, Rona secured a tenth-place finish with a score of 25.900, while Monitz finished thirteenth with 25.300 points. Currently, Rona holds an overall fourth place with a combined score of 54.300 points, while Monitz ranks seventh with a total of 53.050 points.

The competition will continue tomorrow with the qualifying rounds for the clubs and ribbon events. Medals will also be awarded based on the standings in these apparatus. Following these performances, positions for the all-around knockout round will be determined.
