Haunting Revelations: Hezbollah Admits to Numerous Israeli Spies Within Leadership, Fearing for Their Future

Hezbollah Admits: “There Are Many Israeli Agents in Our Leadership, It’s a Nightmare”

Significant Arrests of Israeli Agents in Lebanon

Recent reports indicate that at least 21 individuals accused of being Israeli agents have been apprehended in Lebanon. According to the Arab newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat, many of those detained are closely linked to the leadership of the Hezbollah organization. This infiltration reportedly enabled the Israeli Mossad to eliminate dozens of senior commanders within Hezbollah.

Key Arrest: Mohammed Salah

Among the most notable arrests is that of Mohammed Salah, the son of a senior commander in Hezbollah’s elite Radwan unit. A Lebanese judicial source quoted in the article identified Salah as “the most dangerous agent arrested since the beginning of the war.” He is alleged to have provided critical information to Israel regarding the movements of high-ranking Hezbollah officials and the identities of their successors following targeted eliminations.

“The information Salah shared led to the elimination of dozens of senior commanders in the organization, including Hassan Badir, who was responsible for Hezbollah’s dealings with Palestinian matters, and his son Ali, who were eliminated by an Israeli drstart strike on March 29,” the Lebanese source stated. Furthermore, Salah purportedly sent Israel the names of new commanders appointed to replace those who were killed and frequently shared photographs of himself with them.

Public Outcry and Internal Reaction

The depth of the Mossad’s penetration into Hezbollah has shocked the Shiite community in Lebanon. In the southern suburbs of Beirut, enraged residents erected a gallows in a public square demanding the execution of the captured agents. The situation has been characterized by the newspaper as a “nightmare that is disturbing Hezbollah’s peace of mind,” with the threat perceived as significant as the consequences of war itself.

It is noteworthy that Salah’s brother was previously killed in a conflict with Israeli forces. Following the announcement of his arrest, social media platforms became inundated with images he had taken with Hezbollah fighters who had perished in the war, which likely granted him access to sensitive information.

Current Status of the Detainees

Among the 21 individuals detained thus far, there are reportedly 13 Lebanese citizens, six Syrians, and two Palestinians. Some of these individuals were allegedly recruited by the Mossad during the current conflict, particularly after October 8, 2023, when Hezbollah initiated hostilities against Israel. Others were purportedly recruited prior to the outbreak of violence.

Lebanese authorities are reportedly tracking additional agents, though the judicial source indicated that the arrest of a single individual does not guarantee the exposure of others, given that the Mossad has adopted a strategy of recruiting individuals on a start-to-start basis rather than through organized networks as in the past.

Legal Proceedings and Future Implications

Salah and other suspects are currently being investigated by the Lebanese military court and face charges of “collaborating with the Israeli enemy and providing information that led to the killing of civilians,” offenses which could result in the death penalty in Lebanon.

In recent weeks, rumors have surfaced about the arrests of local content creators and social media influencers suspected of collaborating with Israel. However, a Lebanese security source dismissed these claims, emphasizing that “the information is exaggerated and far from reality.”
