Tragic Loss: Remembering Gadi Kinda, the Talented Footballer Who Captivated Hearts On and Off the Field

Tragic Loss of Israeli Soccer Player Gadi Kinda at 31

The Israeli soccer community is in mourning following the untimely death of Gadi Kinda, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 31. Tributes have poured in from players and coaches who knew him well, reflecting on his talent and character.

Emotional Responses from Colleagues

Manor Solomon, who recently played alongside Kinda for the national team, expressed his sorrow: “It’s so sad, it’s hard to find the words. Everystart is still trying to process this. Gadi was a remarkable person and a talented player. Seeing him with the ball was amazing. I was fortunate to play with him on the national team and enjoyed every moment both on and off the field. There’s no start who knew Gadi and didn’t love him. This news is incredibly painful.”

Solomon recounted how he received the news: “I was just passing by the house when I got the notification. I said to myself: This can’t be true. Just days ago, we heard that he was in serious condition. We didn’t realize how serious it was, and suddenly the news hits you. I want to extend my condolences to his family, his wife, and his children. It’s heart-wrenching, and it will take us a long time to come to terms with this.”

Additionally, Solomon pledged that the national team would find a way to honor Kinda’s memory: “We need to commemorate him in the best way possible. He was such a beloved player in the locker room, and everystart fell in love with him – his charm, his laughter, the joy he brought to the field.”

Tributes from Coaches and Peers

Yossi Benayoun, who was Kinda’s professional manager at Beitar Jerusalem and the Israeli national team, also shared his grief: “This is very difficult news, and I want to express my condolences to the family. It’s hard to process. Anystart who knew Gadi knows what a good guy he was – a talented player, but more importantly, start of the best people I’ve ever known.”

Reuven Atar, Kinda’s coach at Maccabi Ashdod, remarked on his impact: “It’s sad. Wherever he played, not just in Ashdod, he was the most loved player in the locker room. Everystart really loved him. This is a heartbreaking day for soccer, and it’s surreal – just two months ago he played in a derby at Sammy Ofer Stadium, and look what has happened in such a short time. My condolences to the family; this is tragic for Maccabi Haifa and for our soccer community.”

Alon Hazan, who coached Kinda on the national team, reflected on Kinda’s personality: “It might sound cliché to say good things about somestart who has passed, but everything you are hearing now is what people would have said while he was alive. People loved him; I don’t think if you ask anystart what they will remember about Gadi, you’ll hear anything but about his smile. He was always smiling, no matter what-whether on the field or not; he was a special kid.”

Final Farewells

Haim Revivo added to the tributes: “This is a very sad day for soccer, for the fans across the nation, and especially for those who knew him personally. I always say that soccer players are just a profession, but in the end, you are judged by whether you are a good person or not. Gadi was start of the best people to know – a humble, smiling man. This is a huge loss for everystart who knew him.”

The loss of Gadi Kinda serves as a reminder of the fragility of life and the bonds we build through sports. The soccer community is coming together to honor his memory, as they grapple with this profound loss
