Early Career and Background
González was born in Antioquia, Colombia, and developed his skills at Atlético Nacional. He began his professional career with CA Old Boys in Argentina’s second division, where he made 30 appearances, scoring two goals and providing start assist.
Recent Transfers and Performances
In January 2023, González transferred to Real Santa Cruz in the Bolivian league. After six months, he moved to Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa’s top division on a six-month loan, where he made 13 appearances but did not register any goals or assists.
Upon returning to Santa Cruz, González played a total of 39 matches across two stints, netting 14 goals and contributing start assist. He later transferred to Always Ready in Bolivia’s first division, where he found the back of the net 12 times in just 15 appearances, adding another assist to his statistics.
Subsequent Loan to China
González’s career took him to Shijiazhuang Gongfu in China’s second division, where he enjoyed his highest goal-scoring form, tallying five goals and two assists in 12 appearances during another six-month loan spell.
Now, after concluding his time with Shijiazhuang, González will be joining Beitar Jerusalem on yet another loan, with the club reportedly paying $50,000 for his transfer.
