Hapoel Tel Aviv Signs 20-Year-Old Mor Buskila Amid Contract Dispute
New Addition to the Team
Hapoel Tel Aviv announced on Wednesday the signing of 20-year-old winger Mor Buskila on a four-year contract. The move, however, is mired in controversy as the club reportedly did not reach an agreement with Hapoel Ramat Gan regarding Buskila’s transfer.
Contract Dispute
Sources within Hapoel Tel Aviv claim that they possess evidence proving that Buskila holds a contract that extends until the end of the season with Hapoel Ramat Gan. The team contends that negotiations concerning transfer fees have stalled, with Hapoel Ramat Gan’s ownership reportedly unwilling to sell Buskila. They have also expressed reluctance to meet or respond to Hapoel Tel Aviv’s generous offers.
The situation is expected to escalate to arbitration to resolve the dispute. Hapoel Ramat Gan’s representative, Hamias, refuted any talks between the two clubs, stating, “There are no current negotiations regarding Mor Buskila. All of this is nonsense and lies. Mor Buskila has a contract for another season with Hapoel Ramat Gan, and he will remain there.”
Player’s Performance
Last season, Mor Buskila enjoyed a breakout year with Hapoel Ramat Gan, scoring seven goals and showcasing impressive performance on the left wing. Under coach Itzik Baruch, he played a pivotal role in the team’s strong performance, helping propel them to the top of the league standings for a significant portion of the season.
As the situation develops, football fans and clubs alike will be watching closely to see how the contract issues surrounding Buskila are resolved
