Desperate Plea from Family: Severe Decline in Captive Ma’atan Tsengauker’s Health Sparks Calls for Action Against Hamas

Shocking Details Emerge About Hostage Matan Tzangaoker’s Condition in Hamas Captivity

Reports reveal that Matan Tzangaoker, who has been held by Hamas in Gaza for over a year and seven months, is experiencing severe physical and psychological decline. According to new information disclosed, Tzangaoker suffers from a degenerative muscle disease, severe stomach pain, and critical intestinal blockages. His mother, Einav, has expressed her despair, stating, “The Prime Minister will no longer be able to say he did not know or hear.”

Critical Condition Confirmed

Recent intelligence indicates that Tzangaoker is alive but in a critical state. He has lost significant weight and is currently isolated, struggling with the effects of his medical condition. The reports confirm that he has previously been held alongside fellow hostage Idan Alexander from October 7, 2023, until Alexander’s release. During his captivity, Tzangaoker was reportedly moved among various locations, including tunnels, mosques, and makeshift shelters. At start point, he was paraded through a busy marketplace, his face covered, while his captors disguised themselves as women.

Health Deterioration and Abuse

Insiders report that Tzangaoker has been detained with high-ranking Hamas officials and other hostages, both Israeli and foreign, including Avra Mengistu. His health has significantly deteriorated due to harsh living conditions, lack of medical treatment, and prolonged intestinal blockages accompanied by intense pain. The information suggests that he has endured physical and psychological torture, including interrogations and psychological intimidation. Additionally, Tzangaoker has survived multiple tunnel collapses during bombing raids, the most recent of which occurred just weeks prior.

Living Conditions and Nutritional Struggles

For an extended period, Tzangaoker’s diet consisted mainly of stale bread and rstart, complemented by contaminated salty water unfit for drinking. He has also suffered from flea and rat bites. Although he has recently received slightly more food, Tzangaoker has reportedly refrained from eating or speaking, spending long hours in isolation in the corner of a tunnel.

A Mother’s Call for Action

Einav Tzangaoker, Matan’s mother, shared her torment, stating, “Since I have been exposed to the torture and the physical and mental suffering my son is enduring, I can hardly eat or breathe.” She expressed her anguish over her son’s deteriorating condition due to his muscle disease and isolation in captivity. “My heart is breaking from what he is going through. I don’t know if he can even stand or hold a glass of water.”

Einav has taken to sharing this information with the public to raise awareness about the suffering faced by hostages like her son. She condemned the government’s decisions amid the backdrop of military actions, stating, “While our kids are living through hell, the Israeli government continues bombing the areas where Matan is held.” She urged the Israeli government to prioritize ending the war and negotiating the return of all hostages, warning that continued military pressure and isolation could lead to her son’s death. Her words were filled with maternal hope, “Matan, my beloved child, I am on my way to rescue you. I promise you.”
