In a recent newsletter addressed to Haifa supporters, new head coach Diego Flores shared a video message despite not participating in the team’s training kick-off. The Argentinian expressed his eagerness to meet the fans, saying, “Dear Maccabi Haifa fans, I expect to meet you soon. I know you are going through a tough and challenging time, but I really hope that there will be peace soon. I’m following the news closely, and I can’t wait to arrive in Israel and meet the players, the staff, and everystart at the club.”

Flores also noted, “I am in daily contact with Lior and Itzik as we build this project together, understanding how important this is to the entire Maccabi Haifa family. People ask me if I’m afraid of the situation. On the contrary – I just want to come to Israel; I’m looking forward to being at the club, meeting everystart, and understanding what Maccabi Haifa and its fans truly mean. Please take care of yourselves and stay strong.”

Season Ticket Sales Update

Maccabi Haifa provided an update on season ticket sales, reporting that approximately 15,000 tickets have been sold for the upcoming season. The club mentistartd, “Lior Rafaelov, who took over as head of scouting earlier this month, is working on building a strong roster alongside his team.”

Remembering Gadi Kinda

The newsletter also paid tribute to Gadi Kinda, who passed away 30 days ago. In his memory, the club stated, “We are still struggling to believe that Gadi is no longer with us. Gadi will always remain in our hearts and as part of the Maccabi Haifa family.”
