In a passionate message on his Twitter account, Thomas criticized former President Donald Trump’s support of Israel, stating, “Trump will do anything Israel asks of him, even if it’s not in the interest of the United States. But yes, he is running for president with the slogan ‘America First.'” His remarks underscore his belief that the U.S. is compromising its own interests for the sake of Israel.

Furthering his critique, Thomas urged the media to stop generalizing the American public’s involvement in military actions, saying, “I would appreciate it if the media would stop saying ‘we bombed Iran.’ I didn’t do anything, I’m not for anything that ‘we’ are doing. Stop putting ‘me’ together with all those. It’s all ‘them,’ not ‘me.'”
