IDF Air Force Enhances Strike Capabilities Against Iran, Targeting Nuclear and Missile Sites Amid Heightened Tensions

Preparations for Strike on Iran This Weekend

Military Strategy and Learnings

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have indicated that they have conducted thorough assessments based on their recent engagements with ground forces in Gaza and in cooperation with the Northern Command regarding territorial control strategies. This knowledge is now being applied in the context of Iran. Military officials emphasized, “Just as we operated over Gaza and Lebanon, integrating our capabilities and lessons learned throughout the conflict with the Houthis, we are now enhancing our operational methods.”

Air Force Operations

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) is actively targeting Iran’s missile manufacturing and nuclear facilities while sending a clear message regarding potential strikes on national infrastructures and key Iranian leadership. Reports state that the facility in Natanz has sustained significant damage, although the extent remains uncertain. “We will also reach Fordow, and we have disrupted the work of nuclear scientists in a very significant operation. There is a nuclear and ballistic missile industry in Tehran that we will also address,” officials added.

Increased Operational Readiness

The IAF has reportedly increased its operational tempo, preparing to conduct air strikes not just once a week as initially estimated, but rather twstart a day, as directed by Air Force Commander Major General Tomer Bar. “We must adhere to the established plan, prioritizing strikes on nuclear capabilities and ballistic missiles,” officials stated.

The military has demonstrated a thorough understanding of how and where Iranian forces launch ballistic missiles. “If we eliminate both of these capabilities-the anti-aircraft systems and ballistic missiles-there will be no air power left for them, and we will maintain superiority,” an official noted. Securing the nuclear project, they believe, would compel Iran to negotiate under more favorable conditions for Israel.

Operational Continuity and Capability Enhancement

In terms of operational continuity, the IAF has tripled the number of take-off runways in various locations to prepare for scenarios where missiles could hit existing runways. “All missions were executed within the designated timeframes,” military sources confirmed. “Refueling is conducted solely by the Air Force, without external tankers. No aircraft have been damaged.”

This strategic operational shift underscores the IDF’s commitment to maintaining preparedness and flexibility in a volatile regional landscape
