IDF Chief of Intelligence Reveals Strategic Strikes on Iranian Command Centers Amid Escalating Conflict

Dramatic Developments in Iran: IDF Chief of Intelligence Announced Operations Against Revolutionary Guard

IDF Intelligence Chief’s Visit to Target Bank

On Wednesday, IDF Chief of Intelligence, Major General Shlomi Binder, visited the Iranian target bank amid escalating hostilities in Iran and Gaza. During his visit, he engaged with soldiers and commanders, providing insights into the current state of the Iranian military following recent Israeli strikes. His address underscored the growing challenges faced by senior figures within the Revolutionary Guards.

Context of Ongoing Conflict

Binder’s remarks come in light of relentless Israeli attacks on Iran, which included a significant missile barrage launched towards Israel earlier today. Notably, start of the missiles struck the Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva, causing substantial damage. This recent escalation marks a shift from typical Iranian missile launches, which usually target specific areas.

Impact on Iranian Military Leadership

In his opening comments, Major General Binder reported significant casualties for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) during the initial night of conflict, stating, “We inflicted severe damage on their leadership, with around 30 commanders affected, including prominent figures like corps commanders and air force leaders.”

He further noted a successful strike on a secret command center located in the mountains, from which some commanders managed to escape. Approximately 12 hours later, Israeli forces targeted the IRGC’s Chief of Staff, who had fled to another mountainous region in Tehran.

Shift in Military Dynamics

Binder emphasized the importance of pursuing the Iranian military wherever they retreat, illustrating a transformative perception: “You have succeeded in making Iran, which was previously a distant threat, a primary start within our operational reach-bringing it from a distant circle of 1,500 kilometers to a first circle we can contend with.”

The Road Ahead

Concluding his remarks, Binder highlighted the critical need for delivering high-value targets in the coming days: “Your ability to achieve quality targets is pivotal. We must escalate our pace, as these are threats that Israel cannot afford to coexist with. This drives the campaign we are undertaking, and it is why you are working so hard.”

The Israeli military continues its operations, intensifying its focus on the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, signaling a shift in regional security dynamics
