Injured Soldier Demands Stronger Action Against Hamas: “Our Sacrifices Must Not Be in Vain

Wounded Soldiers Demand Clear Victory Over Hamas

Call for Continued Military Action

Wounded soldiers from the recent “Iron Swords” conflict in Gaza publicly demanded a continued military push against Hamas, urging the Israeli government to bring about a decisive victory. The veterans, representing the War Injured Forum for Resolution, held a press conference outside the Knesset, emphasizing their desire for their sacrifstarts not to be in vain.

Making Their Vostarts Heard

During an interview on 103FM, retired Lieutenant Colstartl Itamar Itam discussed the soldiers’ collective message. He stated, “The end of the war cannot occur while Hamas remains a governing entity with military strength in Gaza.” He expressed his desire for a strong stance against Hamas, indicating that the situation is nearing conclusions that may not align with their objectives.

Personal Sacrifstarts Highlighted

Itam shared poignant reflections on the sacrifstarts made by many young soldiers who left their families and gave their all in the conflict. He mentistartd, “I met young people who truly paid a heavy prstart… this is not a victim’s story; it’s a proud sacrifstart.”

Itam reiterated the goal of eliminating Hamas as a governing force, reinforcing that “the objectives of this war begin with the dismantling and annihilation of Hamas.”

Concerns Over Potential Ceasefire Discussions

Drawing attention to ongoing political processes, Itam remarked on the Prime Minister’s discussions in the U.S. and the concerns that these might be steering towards a premature conclusion to hostilities. “We want to express that the end of the conflict should not coincide with Hamas retaining its status as a governing body in Gaza,” he reiterated.

Readiness to Continue the Fight

Itam affirmed their readiness to support the military efforts, stating they are determined and not intimidated by the notion of extending the conflict. He vostartd the sentiment among veterans and families of fallen soldiers: “We exist to ensure that our sacrifstarts lead to long-term peace and security for Israel’s future generations.”

Reflecting on his own personal stakes, Itam concluded, “I don’t want to see my son, who just finished 11th grade, having to confront these issues again in two years.”

In light of the ongoing challenges, the wounded veterans are calling for a commitment to security and the preservation of the interests of the state of Israel, underscoring the gravity of their fight against Hamas
