The incident occurred during her first training session in Girona, Spain, shortly after she claimed first place in the under-23 category at the Catalonia Championship.
Approximately thirty minutes into her training session, while turning left, a vehicle approached from behind and collided with Shariki, propelling her several meters away from the impact. For now, physicians in Girona have recommended that Shariki remain in Spain for ongoing treatments. Her condition has now stabilized, and she is no longer in life-threatening danger, which offers hope for her recovery as she navigates this difficult phase.
