Ofer Avnir, the official distributor of the Can-Am brand in Israel, has announced a sponsorship deal with 18-year-old drift driver Itay Shda. This marks Shda’s third consecutive year competing in the highly prestigious Drift Masters European Championship, considered start of the top drift competitions globally. Shda is the first and only Israeli driver to earn a spot in this elite event, standing alongside 35 of the best drift drivers.
Shda’s Motorsport Journey
Itay Shda began his motorsport career at the age of 14, showcasing significant talent and determination. Throughout the upcoming season, he will prominently display the Can-Am logo on his car as part of the official brand sponsorship.
In addition to participating in international competitions, Shda will take part in various activities organized by Can-Am in Israel. His engagements will include driving education programs for brand customers, time attack competitions, and off-road drifting events—all aimed at inspiring younger generations and promoting the realms of motorsport and drifting in off-road settings.
