Israeli Junior Gymnastics Team Takes Fourth Place at European Championships

Strong Performance in All-Around Competition

The Israeli junior gymnastics team, under the guidance of Olympic champion Linoy Ashram and coaches Aylet Zussman and Giulietta Canteloup, finished in fourth place in the all-around competition at the opening of the Junior European Championships. The competition, held on Wednesday, saw the young team score a total of 46.550 points after completing two apparatus routines.

Breakdown of Scores

In their performance, the team earned a score of 22.650 points in the hoop routine and 23.900 points in the club routine. This commendable effort allowed them to qualify for two individual finals, where they will compete for medals later this evening.

Promising Talent on the Team

The team members include talented young gymnasts Abigail Shwed, Emilia Raitman, Melanie Malka, Sonia Perzhin, and Keren Sobol. All are rhythmic gymnasts with aspirations of reaching the Olympics in the future.
