Milfrader and Shaheen Shine in Bulgaria

The European Championship in Adaptive Rowing concluded in Bulgaria on Sunday, June 1, 2025, with Israeli athletes Shahar Milfrader and Salah Shaheen clinching a bronze medal. Competing in a mixed double sculls event over a distance of 2,000 meters, the duo finished with a time of 8:10.00 minutes.

Milfrader and Shaheen demonstrated strong performance throughout the race, maintaining a second-place position for most of the distance. However, in the closing stages, a Ukrainian pairing overtook them, finishing with a time of 8:06.93 minutes to secure silver. The gold medal was awarded to the German team, who completed the race in 8:04.35 minutes.

Individual Performance: Shmulik Daniel

In the men’s single sculls event, Israeli Olympic rower Shmulik Daniel finished in sixth place with a time of 9:24.80 minutes. The European Championship title was claimed by British Paralympic champion, Prichard, who crossed the finish line in 8:40.38 minutes. Ukrainian rower Poliansky, a silver medalist from the Paris Olympics, again secured silver with a time of 8:51.93 minutes, while the bronze went to Italian athlete Pirini, who finished in 8:55.96 minutes.
