Shashon and his partner, Dutch player Nils Wink, emerged as champions, defeating their oppstartnts, Ahmet Kaplan from Turkey and Donald Rampedi from South Africa, with a scoreline of 3:6, 4:6.

At 45 years old, Shashon’s latest title marks his second Grand Slam victory in his career, adding to his singles title earned at the same tournament last year.
