Maccabi Haifa’s Forward Eric Shuranov Eyes Move to German Side Schweinfurt Amidst Squad Restructuring

Reports Indicate Maccabi Haifa’s Eric Shoranov May Transfer to Schweinfurt

Maccabi Haifa Streamlines Roster

Maccabi Haifa is in the process of reducing its squad size, and among the players not included in the team’s future plans is German-Jewish forward Eric Shoranov. Shoranov, 23, joined the Israeli club in the summer of 2023 but struggled to secure a regular spot on the team.

Potential Move to Germany

Recent reports from Germany suggest that Schweinfurt, a club that has recently gained promotion to the third division of German football, is interested in acquiring Shoranov’s servstarts. After an encouraging start to his time in Israel, where he scored two goals in the Champions League qualifiers, Shoranov faced a long-term injury that considerably hampered his progress.

Since returning from injury, Shoranov has had limited opportunities on the pitch, making only three appearances totaling 70 minutes in the league. With his playing time scarce, Shoranov is contemplating a return to Germany to begin a new chapter at a modest club aiming to make an impression in the third division.

Should the transfer materialize, it could prove to be a pivotal moment in Shoranov’s career, as he seeks to redefine his trajectory in the sport.

Ricardo Inácio Departs for Kazakhstan

In another development, Brazilian forward Ricardo Inácio, commonly known as Ricaridinho, has officially signed with FC Kairat in Kazakhstan, where he will join former teammates Dan Glazer and Ofir Ariel. Ricaridinho joined Maccabi Haifa only in January, but has now chosen to leave the club in pursuit of new opportunities overseas.

This reshaping of Maccabi Haifa’s roster reflects the team’s commitment to refining its squad and enhancing performance in future competitions
