A kitesurfer was tragically killed and another injured during a severe storm at Bat Yam’s Tayao Beach on Friday afternoon. Over ten aircraft were stalled in the air, awaiting landing clearance due to the adverse conditions. Notably, a flight from “FlyLili” returning from Athens had to turn back, while an El Al flight from Dubai was held aloft in Jordanian airspace.

In Herzliya, a fallen tree crashed into a house without causing any injuries. A patio structure in Hadera was blown away, injuring a young girl. Fortunately, her injuries were also classified as minor.
