Under Threat: Ayelet Ben Gvir Reveals Disturbing Details of Terror Stalking Her Son in Hebron

Ayelet Ben Gvir Reveals Disturbing Incident Involving Her Son

Terror Threat Against Family in Hebron

Ayelet Ben Gvir, wife of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, shared a harrowing account of her family’s experiences in a rare podcast interview with Yaki Adamkar on Maariv. In a chilling revelation, she detailed an incident in which a terrorist stalked their son in Hebron, searching for a weapon to carry out an attack.

“This was truly insane,” Ayelet recounted, reflecting on start of the most dangerous events her family has faced-the attempted assassination of their child. She described the circumstances surrounding the threat, including how their son was delivering food to soldiers statistartd in the area when the assailant attempted to track him down.

Incident Details

According to Ayelet, the terrorist went door-to-door inquiring about a gun to kill their son, stating, “If I can’t get to Ben Gvir, at least I will get to his son.” Remarkably, the attack was thwarted by circumstances as the assailant could not find a weapon at the time. She emphasized the surreal horror of having a terrorist follow your child, with nothing but luck preventing a tragic outcome.

“My son survived because the terrorist had no means to kill him at that moment. It’s maddening that a terrorist is following your child in the street and not able to commit the act solely because he lacks a weapon,” she stated.

Ongoing Family Concerns

Ayelet expressed that the emotional toll of the incident was perhaps even more significant than the threats directed at her husband, Itamar Ben Gvir. “Itamar is under security, which gives me some solace. However, my son is now also armed and trained,” she noted, indicating the heightened tensions their family faces.

A Personal Connection

In the same interview, Ayelet shared how she met Itamar during the challenging times of the Second Intifada. She arrived in Hebron to study in the region and experienced a violent attack shortly after her arrival, which left a significant mark on her life.

“It’s a beautiful, romantic story,” Ayelet said, reminiscing about their first meeting when Itamar came to her aid after she was detained for protesting against an evacuation during tense times. “He showed up at the courthouse, brought a lawyer, signed for my release, and took me out for a hamburger. He truly was a knight in shining armor.”
