Yehali Shushani Clinches 12th Place at European Gymnastics Championships
Strong Performance in All-Around Final
In an impressive debut at the European Championships, Israeli gymnast Yehali Shushani secured 12th place in the all-around final held in Leipzig, Germany. Competing against Europe’s finest, Shushani showcased her skills with a total score of 50.732 points, improving her marks from the preliminary rounds.
Shushani’s routine included four events, where she scored as follows: 12.766 points in vault, 12.00 points on parallel bars, 12.2 points on the beam, and again 12.766 points on floor exercise. This performance marks a significant mileststart for Shushani, who is participating in her first senior European Championship.
Leah Raz Follows Closely
Fellow gymnast Leah Raz also competed in the all-around event and tallied a total of 49.199 points, placing her in 19th overall. Raz achieved notable scores including 12.933 points in vault, 12.533 points on parallel bars, 11.400 on beam, and 12.333 on floor.
Mixed Event Participation
Further demonstrating their versatility, Leah Raz and fellow gymnast Uri Zeidel took part in the mixed-gender competition. However, the duo did not advance to the final rounds, finishing 14th overall in the combined event scores.
